10/24 Fall Stream Stewardship and Plant ID Workshop

Join the North Clackamas Watersheds Council and Mosaic Ecology on Saturday, October 24th fall workshop focused on ways to identify common native and invasive plants in their fall life stages.

Participants will get hands-on experience with tools and techniques used by professional restoration practitioners and community stewards alike. We will discuss ways to manage non-native plants on your property and fall stewardship activities that can help you to improve riparian habitat for wildlife on your property.

In this online watershed workshop, we’ll explore the geography of North Clackamas Watersheds- including their unique ecology and fascinating history.

Learn how flooding, weather, tree planting, and other factors all work together to shape the place we live. We’ll also discuss current habitat restoration projects led by the Council and ways you can get involved in watershed health in your neighborhood.
